Hello! Thank you for stopping by and your interest in my candidacy for the New Lammersville Joint Unified School District Governing Board. Lammersville Elementary School District will give way to the new district when, as I hope, you plan on voting for unification in this election. Unification is the process by which an elementary school district builds the case for providing the secondary (high school) education for the students within their boundaries. What this means is once unified, Lammersville students will be able to attend a high school of their own. My name is James Hiramoto and I am running for one of the five seats. This website is to provide you more information about me and why I'm running. I hope you find this website helpful in making your decision. As far as I know Micaela Vergara and Matthew Balzarini are the only two other people registered, although I know of others planning on running. Remember that we will be voting for 5 people this election and I am confident that all candidates want everyone to make well informed selections. I look forward to discussion and debate about where we have come from as a district and what are our views on its future. Before I forget, check with all the fund raisers our school Foundations are doing: Lammersville's dinner, Bethany's pancake breakfast, and Wicklund's auction (please check with each school for dates and times).
